Heavy Equipment Operation Level 1

Course Description:

This course is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of heavy equipment operator responsibilities, heavy equipment safety and career opportunities. Topics include orientation to the trade; heavy equipment safety; identification of heavy equipment; basic operational techniques; utility trailers; introduction to earthmoving, and grades. The course is aligned with the NCCER Heavy Equipment Operations Level I credential. 

Begins: August 15, 2025

Ends: December 12, 2025

Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays, 6 pm-10 pm (In-Person)
