Fall 2025 Day Class Info

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course prepares individuals to provide emergency medical care and transportation to critical and emergent patients who access the EMS system. EMTs possess the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to stabilize and safely transport patients, ranging from non-emergency and routine medical transports to life-threatening emergencies. They function as integral members of a comprehensive EMS response system, operating under medical oversight. EMTs perform interventions using the basic equipment typically found on an ambulance, serving as a vital connection between emergency scenes and the healthcare system. 

Mandatory Student Orientation:  August 14, 2025

Class Dates: 08/18/25 - 12/18/25

Class hours: Mondays-Thursdays (In-Person) 12:20 pm -2:20 pm

The program does include some online training as well

Costs: $275.80 

Last day to register and pay tuition:  August 11, 2025.

Credential: NC Office of Emergency Medical Services Emergency Medical Technician Certification
