Course Description:
This course introduces microcomputer applications related to accounting systems. Topics include general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, payroll, and correcting, adjusting, and closing entries. Upon completion, students should be able to use a computer accounting package to accurately solve accounting problems.

Students can obtain an independent Quickbooks certification through Intuit after completing this course for an additional cost.
Costs: Tuition: $230.00 + additional cost of cengage (TUITION MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO THE START OF CLASS)

Cengage Access Required: Students must purchase Cengage separately from tuition cost. Purchase Cengage access at www.cengage.com
Purchase Option One: Purchase Cengage Access for one semester, cost is approximately $130 + tax. Will only have to be purchased one time per semester even if students are taking multiple accounting classes in the semester.
Purchase Option Two: Purchase Cengage Unlimited for one year access, cost is approximately $200 + tax. This will only have to be purchased once and will cover multiple classes in the Spring, Summer and Fall semesters of 2025.
