Machining Academy: CAD Technician

Course Description:

The CAD Technician Technical program is designed for individuals seeking entry-level employment as a Computer-Drafting Technician.

 

This program provides the necessary entry-level competencies for producing production-type drawings and documents required for engineering and manufacturing application in mechanical industries. Competencies learned will include: creating mechanical drawings using CAD software, using computer skills to prepare engineering documents and applying 3D computer-generated graphical solutions to illustrate or enhance product designs.

 

Begins: January 8, 2025

Ends: May 6, 2025

Class days and time: Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00pm-9:00pm

4 hours Weekly Online

160 Hours

In-Person and On-line (Blended) Program

 

Credential:

Autodesk Certified Professional in AutoCAD for Design and Drafting

 
Class Cost: Tuition $260.30 + books (TUITION MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO THE START OF CLASS)

Students enrolled in Machining Academy: CAD Technician Class can apply for all the scholarships available at the link below. Scholarships will be awarded based on financial need. Scholarship funds are limited so not everyone will be approved for a scholarship.
