Summer 2025 Class Information
This course provides the theory and clinical experience needed for the proper collection of blood and other specimens used for diagnostic testing. Emphasis is placed on ethics, legalities, medical terminology, safety and universal precautions, healthcare delivery systems, patient relations, anatomy and physiology, and specimen collection. Upon completion, students should be able to safely perform procedures necessary for specimen collections on patients in various healthcare settings and may be eligible for national certification as Phlebotomy Technicians. The course may include a clinical component.
Dates: May 14, 2025 - August 20, 2025
Times: Mondays and Wednesdays 5 pm - 9 pm, and online assignments
Location: 225 Hours

Cost: Tuition - $275.80, Books approximately $80.00, Uniforms approximately $30.00.
Mandatory Orientation: May 7, 2025, at 5:00 pm, Building 17, Room 107

Students enrolled in the Phlebotomy Course can apply for all the scholarships using the link below. Scholarships will be awarded based on financial need. Scholarship funds are limited, so not everyone will be approved.
