Core: Intro to Basic Construction Skills (Bilingual)
This course prepares individuals for entry-level positions on project sites by providing the basics in safety, hand and power tools, construction math, materials handling, construction drawings, rigging, and employability skills.
The Construction Trades Academy operates on an 80/20 layout, which is 80% hands-on training and 20% review & testing. At Mcdowell Tech we believe that hands-on training is the best way to learn a trade and we provide our students with numerous opportunities to work and learn.
This course will be Bilingual.

Class Schedule: Fridays from 6 pm - 9 pm, & Saturdays from 8 am - 3 pm
Total Hours Face-to-Face Weekly: 10 hours
Weekly Online Time: 5 hours
Total Weekly Hours: 15 hours
Location: Universal Advanced Manufacturing Building Classroom, room 120
Cost: $285.30 (TUITION MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO THE START OF CLASS)
